Your poems are incredibly touching...thank you. They have helped me to understand so many things. My 14 year old son just came out to me a couple of months ago and I love him so much for trusting me enough to share this part of his life with me. I want for him what every mother wants for her child...peace within himself and success in life and love. Thank you again.

i wasnt intentionally looking for this website. i was looking up poems for my english class and i came across this link, i looked at the list of sexuality poems and i was only going to read one of them... i ended up reading all of them. the stuff you were saying in your poems were so real and i almost felt like you were talking about me. To thinking that church could cure you in "burnt in hell" and "faith",to going to sleep and dreaming of a whole other world that doesnt care who you are in " the right to be me", not knowing whether god will shun you or love you, whether you will go to heaven or hell, whether your parents will stil love you and your friends will still be there, feeling like theres nothing else left in the world and that your alone with no one to help or guide you. Reading your peoms made me think of who i am and who i think i am.I jus sat there, not sure how long, but i looked up at the clock and it was 3 in the morning. im so lost but dont where to go, i dont have anyone to go to and cant tell anyone that i mite have feelings for the same sex. Im 16 so its the hardest thing for me to think about telling anyone, especially while im still in high school. i jus need help..
